We currently provide wedding officiant services in Washington, D.C. and all counties in Maryland.
Most ceremonies do not require the officiant to attend the rehearsal, especially when a planner is involved. If requested and available, rehearsal attendance is an additional $225. Virtual rehearsals, with the couple, are also available and very popular with many of our couples.
We officiate traditional, non-denominational, interfaith, religious, spiritual, multicultural, and civil ceremonies. If you don’t see your ceremony style listed, feel free to ask.
Absolutely. We believe in marriage equality for all couples.
In most cases, no. Shelby departs after signing the marriage license.
Travel and parking fees are additional and will be quoted during your consultation.
We arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony to complete a sound check and meet the vendor team. Civil ceremonies generally require a 30-minute arrival window.
The couple is responsible for obtaining the marriage license from the appropriate jurisdiction.
Yes. The next business day, we mail the completed license and follow up to confirm receipt.
We offer two officiant paths: a ceremony package that includes three premarital coaching sessions, and a ceremony-only package that focuses on your personalized love story and ceremony script.
For civil ceremonies, we offer three pre-written ceremony options. Special requests are limited to keep the ceremony simple and meaningful.
